The Brief:
Lead the MBO acquisition of SealSkinz and establish the business as a leading brand of patented technical clothing accessories in the UK and overseas.
Activities:
Raise private equity and bank financing to fund the MBO
Grow business at a compound rate of over 35% for 5 consecutive years
Establish SealSkinz as a category leading brand in the cycle, outdoor and equestrian markets in the UK and overseas as well as selling directly to the UK military and industrial markets
Design and launch new product ranges and enter new end-use markets
Run UK manufacturing and overseas sourcing operations
Results:
Successfully exited the business having been recognised as one of the British Venture Capital Association’s top 101 entrepreneurs.
